I am an architect
based in Vermont. My practice concentrates on design of residential architecture,
primarily in New England.
Trained as a Modernist, I have come to embrace the philosophy and values of
the Arts & Crafts movement. But, I enjoy the challenge of working in many
styles, looking for the appropriate solution for each client's aspirations.
My work emphasizes integrity in materials and structure and acknowledges regional
character, local landscape and building traditions. I organize each building
around the local climate and sunlight orientation. And I incorporate modern
building products and technology where they have shown to improve performance
and long-term value.
I enjoy working with clients and builders to accomplish a unique solution for
each project.
